CALL FOR ARTIST RESIDENCY AT THE SCHLOSSMEDIALE WERDENBERG 2027

The Verein Schloss Werdenberg is offering three different practicing artists the opportunity to spend five weeks (from May 17 – June 27, 2027) at a historic site, developing new artwork through creative and open exploration of the annual theme ‘KLATSCH’ and the location itself. The resulting works will be exhibited or performed in Werdenberg castle during the Schlossmediale 2027 festival.

We are looking forward to welcoming artists who wish to draw inspiration from the castle and its surroundings for their work. Each year, a theme is chosen which shapes the programme of the ten-day Schlossmediale festival and, at the same time, forms the basis for the artists’ creative exploration.
